This review is from: The New Girl (Paperback)
Barrington Stoke produces some really captivating short, dyslexia friendly books. The New Girl is one of these amazing books.

I think many people can relate to this story. The falling out with a friend, the one that steps in. I am sure many people could relate to the copycat behaviour and the attempt to steal everything from you, I know I can.

Mary writes in a style that makes you want to read more, to see if it all turns out ok in the end. She enables readers to feel empathy and yet agree with the message she is getting across.

Being a story based on an only child it was very easy to see why others felt a certain way about Kirsty. Being an only child myself I can see how the situation got out of hand.

I would say that this is a book for all. Very relatable and easy to follow and understand.
