If it was possible to give less than 1 star I would. Volume 1 was bad, volume 2 is the most utterly appalling drivel I've ever had the misfortune to waste my money on. Unfortunately I bought both volumes at the same time. If I had read volume 1 first I wouldn't have wasted my money on volume 2. Full of Americanisms, badly plotted, the first story isn't even a Holmes mystery but rather a thin attempt to pretend that Marcum was related to Watson. Dreadful.
