VERY PROMISING BOOK
on 24 January 2014
GARETH brings out the importance of precision and the "hows" and "whys" of every fashion technique associated with menswear. the book reveals the broader picture of how the human male body fits into every cut and style as practiced in the fashion industry. the use of a single material to sew all the different menswear apparel brings out the uniqueness of his approach.
BUT the adaptation of the pattern from the masterpiece to the material is quite a huge challenge. I would have preferred a pattern on paper attached at the end of every chapter that can be detached, traced and adapted or better still a DVD of various pattern illustrations to accompany the text and make it easier to use and follow.
