As a new comer to digital textiles design the book looked as it would have some useful ideas for me to experiment with before trying to teach students. I found it a bit frustrating as it assumes you have knowledge of both Illustrator and Photoshop. I ended up having to buy another book to learn the basics before I could contemplate starting on this book. Maybe I was trying to "run before I could walk".A couple of months on and bit by bit I'm getting to grips with some of the tasks and starting to enjoy experimenting on my own ideas.
