This beautifully written and presented book is a bonus on any cooks shelf. You can look up any fruit or vegetable and you are given details of it's country of origin and history, followed by it's preparation and how to store it and then several recipes it can be used in. The recipes are easy to follow, use sensible ingredients that are easy to buy (if not already in the cupboard)and then they taste delicious as well. There is a good mix of savoury and sweet dishes to try with lovely photos to tempt you.
This would make an excellent present for someone who enjoys reading as much as cooking.
