303 Squadron was long out of print and also cost many pounds if you found one. This is a long awaited update as well as a reprint and corrects many myths and gives the correct names of the pilots and dates for combats, witheld due to wartime censorship. 303 were one of the top scoring Squadrons in the Battle of Britain and were regarded as an elite unit by the Poles, who fought in other squadrons and wanted to be posted to this one. It was immortalised in the newsreels of the day as well as in the film Battle of Britain. A thouroughly good combat classic of fighting for the cause of Britain in 1940, and for the lives of those they left behind in Poland. Sadly, many paid with their lives.
