This review is from: Pathfinder Player Companion: Varisia, Birthplace of Legends (Paperback)
This slim booklet gives a quick introduction to Varisia, a varied and dangerous realm which is ideal as a starting place for a campaign. There is enough to give players a real sense of the place and GMs plenty of ideas. The feel for Varisia it creates is particularly impressive, not least in its portrayal of the Gypsy-like Varisians and the tattooed nomads of the Shoanti. Highly recommended, the only criticism being that it does leave you wanting more!
