5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for web designers
On the front cover this book states: 'Themes, trends and styles'

That is what it delivers, it doesn't say on the front 'The best in Services, FAQ, Contact Us and other web content examples' This book is great, what it delivers is lots and lots of great stylish websites that you can browse through and pick up little hints and things that you can use in one of...

2.0 out of 5 stars Design for home page ONLY, no inspiration for anything else., 26 Dec. 2010

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Web Designer's Idea Book, Volume 2: More of the Best Themes, Trends and Styles in Website Design (Paperback)
The whole idea is great when we talk about home page design. And yes if you check his samples carefully, you can easily find out that most if not all are wordpress websites. Why does this matter? because wordpress websites are fixed layout which means you use templates and the design are already there and you can't change the layout. I expect something more than just home page design, say inner pages - services, about us, faq etc especially those pages that is full with contents (texts) and that's what design really matters. But unfortunately, this book has not touched anything about that.
