I have been a fan of John Murphy's work for a while and have all the other books that he has written or contributed to. This book certainly didn't disappoint and has the amusing and imaginative background that John Murphy conjours up so well for each of the 13 creatures that are featured.

1.0 out of 5 stars Monsters book
Fabulous book, full of colourful instructions how to make these cute monsters. Book was a gift, but I was happy to give it, and which was received just as excitedly! It was delivered promptly and in A1 condition.

I have been a fan of John Murphy's work for a while and have all the other books that he has written or contributed to. This book certainly didn't disappoint and has the amusing and imaginative background that John Murphy conjours up so well for each of the 13 creatures that are featured.
If like me, you have worked on other craft projects and are looking for something a little more challenging, I would highly recommend this book. The creatures, although more complex than Murphy's previous designs, are worth the time and effort that you put into them.
The only draw back to this book is some of the items that it asks you for are rather specific, eg an acid green women's skirt suit (to make 'The Mighty Glapthod'.) However, you can take the instructions for all the basic body parts (arms, legs, hands, feet, horns, ears...) and create your own monster.
Well worth the money.
