This review is from: Doctor Who: Volume 1 - Fugitive (Doctor Who (IDW Numbered)) (Paperback)
“There’s no point being grown-up if you can’t be childish sometimes.”

These stories were first published in 2010, and feature the Tenth Doctor. The Doctor gatecrashes a party held by Archibald Maplin in Hollywood, 1926, looking for what appears to be a chronal anomaly. By the time he’s sorted that out, he’s been arrested to be tried under the Shadow Proclamation.

This is great stuff; a great action-packed Doctor story with great continuity and narrative, there is plenty of action, plenty of other alien races, and a well plotted and sufficiently complex story to hold the reader’s attention, along with great artwork. Looking forward to the next volume, Tessaract.
