This is a fantastic buy for all scrapbookers/cardmakers out there who love sketches! My biggest timewaster is pushing paper around the page to decide placement but with this book success is at your finger tips. I've made 3 or 4 pages and 5 cards using the sketches in the book and i've loved each one! For someone who's not always happy with my own work - this is quite an achievement!
I can't rate this book highly enough and if your considering it, then buy it - you wont regret it!

Well, this really is a must-have for all of us scrapbookers and cardmakers! It's a very good price for a wonderful product. It gives you many ideas for layouts and they are organised in a handy way. They used colours as an indication for the amount of pictures one can use in the layout. And of all of the sketches, there are a few examples.
The book is sturdy, the pages are sort of laminated. At the end, there are cards you can pop out. Each card has a sketch on it. There also is a box to be assambled (pop it out first) so you can keep they cards in there.

I have had a lot of use from the first volume, and so decided to buy this second volume too.
The basic premise is the same: a book with the all the layouts on cards. There were a lot more double spread 12"x 12" designs, which are what I use the most, so I was very happy indeed. My one complaint is that the publishers havent kept to the same colour coding system used in the first volume, which would have made it far easier to amalgamate the two sets.
A few of the layouts in this volume - despite the title - are not for scrapbooks at all, but for cards, but are probably adaptable. Generally a good buy.

This is a great source of inspiration for scrappers, all of us have times when we simply just don't know where to start. Beautifully set out with sketches and matching layouts I would say this is a must for scrapbookers.
And if you craft away from home the best thing about the book are the little cards found at the back of the volume. I removed mine and clipped them together with a book ring, they travel with me to crops just in case I need a helping hand to get started. A really worthwhile buy.
