In her latest book on Doubleweave,Jennifer Moore takes us patiently step by clear step through the maze of doubleweaving. Her explanations are clear, concise and well illustrated, so that even a comparatively new weaver, like myself, can find herself producing doublewoven cloth to the amazement of her family. Jennifer Moore herself is an extremely modest women of amazing talent and an excellent teacher of the part of the weaving craft that she herself excels in. I would recommend this book to be in the library of any aspiring weaver.

If you want to learn how to tackle doublewide, this is an excellent book. It's clearly written and easy to follow by an enthusiastic. The sampler was good fun to do, covering lots of different techniques, from 'simple' double weave to quilting and lace structures, and has given me the confidence to tackle some of the suggested projects.

Excellent book, to add to the collection of a weavers library. Gives so many ideas for using this technique, I hadn't realized the breadth of possibilities using doubleweave until I read this book (briefly) and can't wait to put some of the techniques into practice. Definitely a book worth having, I recommend it.

This amazing book shows you how to get the very best from your weaving loom. Weave widths double and more than the size of your loom with no seams. Discover how to weave a tube, and a tube within a tube. This is a magical book. The designs are beautiful and the presentation top notch. 13 great designs and projects you could easily adapt plus full instructions and suggestions for expansion. Popular in the eighteenth century, this book explores the full potential of this method and encourages you to experiment. This review first appeared on Karen Platt's book review website.
