This review is from: Gantz Volume 9 (Paperback)
For his first mission after the massacre at the temple, Kei finds that he will be the only one participating in the alien hunt. After some initial success Kei is eventually overpowered and he discovers the penalty for failure in the hunt. After returning to his life however he finds that the hunt had some unexpected consequences as the "Shorty Alien" looks for revenge.

This ninth volume of the 'Gantz' manga is another very interesting volume of the series that includes some nice action and the usual amount of gore. The plot remains to be interesting and it is interesting to see Kei suffer some consequences for his actions. While I am not much of a fan of some of the character designs the artwork is generally good. The volume also includes a few extras about the 'Gantz' universe that are quite interesting.

Overall this was a nice volume of the series and is well worth a low five stars. I will definitely be looking forward to reading the next volume.
