5.0 out of 5 stars Thought provoking
My mindfulness meditation teacher spoke so highly of Pema Chodron that I checked her books out on Amazon and found this little pocket version in which the editor has chosen short extracts from all her works as an introduction to her thought. It's so enlightening, relevant, enriching and resonant with anyone who approaches her with an open mind that I had to give this...

Buddhist philosophy in small bites. Good, useful advice. Handy to carry with you. Not much in the way of linked ideas. What else can i say?

This is a useful pocket/handbag sized book of wisdom, a joy to randomly delve into. Pema Chodrons 'down to earth' spirituality is refreshingly clear and practical.

Gave this to my aunt who keeps it as part of her loo library! I guess one can spend just about long enough in there to gather a snippet of wisdom.

Small & pocket size, each little chapter is more than just a paragraph, it's just about the right to reflect on. Lovely

The condensed Pema Chodron! I've read it many times over and will keep on reading it. Easy as it fits into a pocket. She writes well, inspires and we really do need to be reminded of these things.

I think that this book is specific.
Beautiful meanings and true context.
A wonderful compassionate woman with wisdom far beyond mine.
However I personally couldnt relate to Pema Chodron as I can relate
to other such literature of this kind.
