This review is from: Designing Analog Chips (Paperback)
Having been on several expensive and somewhat disappointing courses that claim to teach analog chip design I believe that you can realistically obtain the same knowledge, save several thousand pounds and a week or two off of work by buying this book and working through it diligently.

The author is one of the industry gurus and this clearly shows in the interesting and accessible style he brings to the subject; all in all an excellent book at an unbelievable price. Buy it now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hugely useful, 20 Mar 2008
This review is from: Designing Analog Chips (Paperback)
Electronic circuit design is a large subject. This books is one of a handful of books that I used regularly in my work. Hans is one of the guys that has been there and done it, and there are many insights for the circuit designer. The book discusses design techniques and also gives examples of circuits and I have found this inspirational. It's also as near as you can get to a technical book that is easy to read!

I bought this book as an easy reference on some common analog design topics. The book is not very lenghty, but it gives a good overview of analog design without going into the math. For example, if you need to understand what a bandgap is, this book gives a simple explenation.
