This book was a, bit of as disappointment to me.
Firstly in the introduction it tells th he reader NOT to use merino wool tops for needle felting as merino wool is unsuitable for the task. This advice is completely contrary to any other book, blog, magazine article or class I have ever encountered. .I use merino wool all the time for needle felting and have had some fantastic results. Merino wool is easy to felt, relatively cheap and comes in a fantastic range of colours. Therefore I feel such advice is confusing for someone new to the craft.
I believe the author keeps her own sheep and uses their wool so that might explain this advice
The projects in the book are Ok but to me they have a fuzzy and unfinished look, again I feel this is down to the wool used.
I have several needle felting books and much prefer Spool Buddies to this book
I will probably try some of the projects but I will use them as a guide only .
I wouldn't recommend this book to a beginner or to anyone in fact , there are far better books on the subject
