This review is from: The Secretary of Dreams (Hardcover)
There are so many King releases it all gets a bit much really, but this is a worthy tome that will not disappoint.
Teaming King with illustrator Glen Chadbourne has produced some fine artwork alongside 6 of Kings stories.
The stories are home delivery, the road virus heads north, jerusalems lot, rainy season, the reach and uncle otto's truck.3 of these are fully illustrated stories. Chadbourne has a good eye for the gruesome style that suits Kings writing and especially in the fully illustrated sets he draws a grim and nasty world.
This is of the usual high standard that Cemetary Dance employ and being oversized and contained in a very nice slipcase makes it feel like money well spent. Which of course it certainly will be as with all CD publications this will only increase in value.
If you are a Stephen King fan looking for something a bit different then this is well worth it.
If you're new to King then try starting off with one of his classics,(say 'IT', ' 'Salem's lot' or 'the green mile'), and see what you think.

If you only ever buy one Stephen King book then make it this one. The stories are well chosen and the artwork adds to the enjoyment of the book. A thing of beauty it is with its oversized, quality paper and its careful packing. I can't wait for Volume 2 and have placed a pre order already.

4.0 out of 5 stars King Of dreams, 4 Mar. 2011
The king of dreams (and nightmares)strikes again bringing together some of his tales with atmospheric sketchings. What better company to spend a few hours.
