I would strongly recommend this book. It is an excellent read and shocking to see what James Yee had to go through. Definitely one of the best books I have read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unjust is an understatement!, 28 Feb 2014
This review is from: For God and Country: Faith and Patriotism Under Fire (Hardcover)
Great Britain may no longer be great, but after reading this I still thank God that I live here. Not that I'm so naïve as to think the same couldn't happen here but I just wouldn't feel safe being a Muslim in America. This book was a real eye opener for me. He went from being someone whom his country was proud of to someone his country didn't trust. And honestly for no other reason it seems than being fair, honest and a Muslim. Everyone should read this book. I used to think that everyone in Guantanamo was there because they deserved to be. Now I wonder how many really shouldn't have been
