Erin Sullivan has pulled together the predictable crises and turning points of mid to later life in an intelligent and highly practical way.Whilst delineating the universal age points that we will all experience at the same age (eg : Second Saturn Return age 58-59),she also takes into account our unique individual birth chart along with the progressed chart.
Instead of being limited to a description of what might influence us stage by stage,as many astrology books do,she has elegantly synthesised the continuum of major transits.
This is a guidebook to refer to whatever stage of your journey you are in.

Excellent book, taking you through all the astrological stages of midlife and ageing.
Well written and really useful information to clarify and understand the changes that we all go through. Helping to shed light on why we are feeling the way we are and how we can utilise and evolve through these precious transitions when they occur, rather than missing these valuable lessons at crucial stages of development.
Have also let others (who aren't into astrology) read my copy who have struggled with some of the stages and it has helped them make sense of events and feelings within their lives.

I found this book very helpful in understanding the course of my life and the astrological "causes" of various events. It is a bit thin on the years after 70 but I expect this is because the author has yet to reach this age. Nonetheless, it is a very useful and well written book, which I can recommend to anyone wanting to understand the various events that have occurred in their life.
