This review is from: The Nature of Arizona: An Introduction to Familiar Plants, Animals & Outstanding Natural Attractions (Waterford Press Field Guides) (Paperback)
This book is much better than I expected! It covers a lot; plants, fish, rodents, birds, reptiles, mammals, insects, flowers, amphibians. Only very brief details on each item, but gives you an idea of what is out there and where it might be, there is a picture of everything that would help with identification. also has some natural attractions and hikes and some info on desert awareness.
This book is a great starting point, but if you wanted more details then you would need to look elsewhere, there is a bibliography that might help with that. Perfect for a holiday to Arizona though!
