Please be aware that the author "Michio Kushi" suffered from bowel cancer and died from pancreatic cancer, when he became ill he turned to western medicine and not Macrobiotic eating. His wife "Aveline" died from cervical cancer, Michio Kushi's teacher George Oshawa died from a heart attack. I point out these facts as some advocates of Macrobiotic diet would have you believe it's a miracle diet that prevents all kinds of illness but as the above mentioned and easily checkable facts show, this is not the case.

This was my first book on macrobiotic lifestyle. I will get more.
You can actually eat and get well to the max, or eat today's food and die early.
We have a choice. Thanks

Martin Rees writes that this may be 'Our Final Century'.
If there is anything the ordinary man or woman can do about this , he or she can do it through what they choose to eat. The sensible thing to do is eat locally grown. This way we improve both ourselves and the Planet. Buy it and start your own revolution.
