University Textbook for those on Forensics and IT Security (First year students).

Easy, gentle, and fun to read, but shows how easy it is to obtain data, and subvert communications and encryption.

The text is very clear and concise yet engaging and as hacker attacks are a underground criminal activity for profit, it will be of benefit to all, especially those very new to security issues.

This book is one which everyone should read, not just computer forensic practitioners. As the ubiquitous computing becomes more mainstream and individuals have less privacy everyday, it is fundamentally important for people to gain an insight into what is possible and how the law applies. This is a must buy book.
