More about building chicken coops would have been handy! This booklet is made up of extracts from a larger book on keeping wildfowl. Lots of good info but doesn't deliver what the title promised.

More like a 30 page pamphlet than a book,disappointing,no designs more information available on the web :-(

Although this small book is nice to have on the shelf it contains no information that is not availble in any number of other publications on the keeping of chickens. The title would suggest it is about the building of chicken coops but, apart from a rudimentary mention, it is nothing of the kind as there is a compete lack of detail or even ideas of design.

This pamphlet hasn't got a coop design in it!

I was expecting a couple of plans for a small and medium sized coop but nothing of the like.

Don't buy this pamphlet, you'll get more information off the Internet or search Amazon for a different book.

a small book ,it tells you the basics but not much else.ok if you are thinking about keeping chickens.

when this supposed book arrived i was not happy with it,i read the whole thing from cover to cover in a matter of a 30mins it is only a leflet in my eyes not worth the money or the postage, its something you would get free at farm store in america!!!!

If you want glossy paper and pro pictures, don't go here. But are you going to build in the near future, this book can give you ideas and plans. Admitted it is all in plain picture og rough drawings, but you can build from them. And yes it is more a leaflet than a book, but just maybe that is for giving you time to build! And compared to the modest price of two handfull of eggs, the book is a ok buy.
In short this little book is for builders not so much for couch keepers !

Lets you know all the things to consider before you start to build a chicken coop such as nesting boxes and perches as well as ease of cleaning

Not what i was looking for.More where to place things and what feeders to have than how to construct Chicken Coops.
