2.0 out of 5 stars fairly good, but there are so many better ones for your cash!, 6 April 2007

This review is from: Inside Job: Unmasking the 9/11 Conspiracies (Paperback)
Hi, i have just finished reading this, and enjoyed it to a certain degree. Its starts out well, with good critique of the official version of events. About half way through though it gets really bogged down (i feel!) in too much detail regarding the FBI, CIA, and who has links to which secret organisation (which dont seem to be very well kept secrets!). Whilst the author deals with interesting questions eg. were the buildings brought down by explosives, were the planes remotely controlled, he doesnt really delve into these questions enough for my liking. Most disappointingly, there is no great denouement where he tells you what he has come to believe is the truth. Instead, you get about 60 pages of Appendices which are not especially interesting. This last part of the book felt to be a cheap way of making the book longer. There are far better books than this out there. Indeed, nearly all of them are!

2.0 out of 5 stars A non-event...!, 7 Aug 2009

I agree with the previous reviewer. Whilst I have enjoyed other books written by Jim Marrs this one seems more than anything an attempt to cash in on the tragedy. Don't bother with it...
