I bought this because my husband has just undergone a triple bypass operation and I wanted some different recipes to those I already have. I have to say I wouldn't have bought this book if I had realised it was for the US market as it gives all the ingredients in cups rather than ozs etc. Not insurmountable but a pain all the same. The recipes don't look that appetising either and my husband couldn't see one thing in it he really fancied. The only good thing is the information about why Atheroma builds up in arteries, Cholesterol, good fats, bad fats and basic nutrional information.
