3.0 out of 5 stars At a Glance books by Microsoft are excellent for beginners.., 27 May 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 at a Glance (At a Glance (Microsoft)) (Paperback)
This book is an excelent introduction for those who are used to Netscape or for those new to IE5. Experienced users might find it "boring usual stuff" but the "academic" with a very rationnal approach of IE5 is of a certain interest for new users of this browser
I always try to buy at A Glance books with Microsoft because they give you a point of view of a product from the point of view of manufacturers.
Students with Microsoft software for students might find this book useful, because it acts as a manual of reference
The only hic is an absence of high technicity for those who have more experience.
I use IE5 as my reference browser for my ISP web site, and find this kind of books very usefull for my customers.
I always offer my clients the best books to buy for both Netscape and Microsoft, and at the end is them who will choose.
Not enough developments either on Dynamic HTML ( maybe further reading is advised in this subject on other books)
