This is a really handy book for clinicians, presenting a good theoretical base and treatment rationale for CBT for anxiety and depression. This also comes with a very useful CD-Rom which includes session materials and client handouts. A handy text for anyone in initial stages of psychology training.

As a new practitioner I was searching for a guide that covered the range of anxiety disorders for my treatment sessions. This book provides a comprehensive collection of interventions session by session and gives examples of case studies and how techniques are applied. It's my bible!

Definitely recommend this for anyone starting out in CBT. Useful in helping to get you started with treatment plans so in that sense in does what it says on the tin. Really does help you to plan sessions and it's great that you have the CD to print off the sheets for use in therapy. Very good flowchart to help you decide which anxiety disorder you are treating.

Good book. However, The CD ROM does not work! And that was the only reason that I bought the book.

I was very disappointment in the CD provided with this book. I have had two of these books with the CD ordered fromAmazon and each CD has cracked even though it has been protected between use in it's sleeve within the book. I now have two books with no CD's.

Good Book for Trainee's. Has full treatment plans for depression and most anxiety disorders. Free CD rom is useful so you can have full access to all print outs for all the interventions and handouts for clients. This is a refreshing change from everything being copy write and usually being expected to shell out more for these extra's. This book will be useful throughout my CBT training but have seen experienced therapists still using it so is a good all rounder for any therapist with an interest in CBT. Would definately recommend it.
