This is a good book of soothing meditative exercises that will calm the mind and body. It does not claim to, and cannot, provide pain relief for serious conditions. The exercises can however reduce tension in the body and reduce stress and I like the undemanding and non-evangelical approach of the author. There is useful discussion of the nature of chronic pain. And the meditations can be done even if you are immobile.
It is not really a book suitable for Kindle. The pictures of the exercises do not display well and are often broken in two, or separated from the descriptions that should accompany them. Much better to purchase the book version.
