Well, if you're a beginner learning Italian, like me, a seasoned Italian speaker, or even Italian, you'll find exactly what you're looking for here. This book has the 'palle' not to say 'fegato' to include just about every slang expression or swear word you're ever likely to hear, let alone use, including 'espressioni' and synonyms. 3.0 out of 5 stars Dirty Italian: Everyday slang from 'What's Up' to 'F*ck off!'
5 star rating if it's bad language you're after, 'coz this is definitely the book for you! However, for those wishing to learn the Italian language properly it does contain a few useful words/slang phrases, which could be useful in making your Italian 'more fluent'.

This review is from: Dirty Italian: Everyday Slang from 'what's Up' to 'f*ck Off!' (Paperback)
It's divided into ten sections, each one comprehensively and just about exhaustively taking you on a journey through the mean streets and dingy basements of the Italian language. That's no mean feat. However, it's not just a list of words and phrases. There are plenty of explanations and useful advice throughout the text and it was these parts of the book that impressed me the most.

An excellent, well laid out, comprehensive and highly intelligent book that pulls no punches and teaches you how NOT to be 'un malandrino'... Highly recommended.

Gabrielle, tu sei una bella gnocca!

PS I'll never be able to keep a straight face when somebody offers me a cappuccino again...
