4.0 out of 5 stars dad liked it
Bought as a gift for my dad who is brewing his own, he liked the recipies and is trying a few out currently. Yet to be tasted but looks good so far.

versus
1.0 out of 5 stars Totally outdated and expensive
First published in 1978 and reprinted unchanged 2012. The recipes are for beers that nobody under 50 will recognise and if you do they'll bring back dire memories of how awful beer was in the Seventies. Some discussion about equipment and techniques including buying a bottle of Guinness to make your own yeast... It's a dreadful book. Unless you're a beer historian, avoid.
