Manara's Click One... censored!
Of course this is a great book. If you've never read Manara, go for it. But if you can read in other languages, you may want to try and find a different version... because this one is censored. What a pity...

disjointed, badly edited, poorly lettered
An unfortunate lesson in how NOT to represent foreign works in English. An interesting plot idea and beautiful art are spoiled by a disjointed storyline. My Finnish wife assures me that this is due to the fact that many frames have been cut from the book - and shouldn't be taken as a reflection on Manara's storytelling talents. Shoot the letterer! My Finnish wife assures me that this is due to the fact that many frames have been cut from the book - and shouldn't be taken as a reflection on Manara's storytelling talents. Shoot the letterer! An empty speech bubble appears on at least one occasion and some words are mis-spelled. 5 crowns for Manara's beautiful art - minus 3 crowns for a terrible translation.

One of the finest mature graphic novels available, 15 Jun 1998

Milo Manara provides a story that explores several levels of relationships, trust, domination, exhibition, and voyerism. It's fast paced and has a great ending.
