This review is from: Bipolar Disorder: A Cognitive Therapy Approach (Hardcover)
I suffer from a mood disorder. Manic, depression and paranoria. I have been able to find many books on depression e.g.Paul Burnes - "Feeling Good" - is a super book on depression and I have learnt that I am a perfectionist and a achivement junky... Anyway back to this book, I was looking for a book that would go into depth about mania.. I found that this book help you to see if you do suffer from mania, goes into the drugs that you can take, explains how mania effects the brain, explain non-drug steps that you can take to over come the manic episode. I have tried to find books that cover the manic side in depth but this is the only good book that I have found...
I have not read the part about depression so I cannot comment on this.
