Living in a place where the people are so homophobic and will literally put you to death - if given the chance - once you are found to be gay, I have had to depend on other people's stories to get an understanding of the lesbain lifestyle and feel good about myself. I therefore depend on TV shows and books in the comfort of my own house, which fortunately I don't share with anyone.

This book is excellent for those days and nights when you want to reach out to someone but there's nobody there. It allows you to feel confident that there are other persons who feel exactly the way you feel, that you are not alone. The stories are well written, funny, witty, and not too long - they get to the point and allow YOU to bask in the afterglow. The stories also tell of people of all ages and sizes.

I defintely recommend this book to anyone who wants to, but haven't had the opportunity to explore a lesbian relationship. I anxiously await the day when I will be able to write my own exciting story like the ones in this book.

Being one of the worlds many undecided (or is that just confused?) about my own sexuality,I started to read this book out of curiosity. In it I have read about women who describe the same feelings, emotions and even behaviours that I thought were solely my own. I feel as if a mist has been lifted from my mind and can now recognise and comprehend my own life experiences. At times there were tears of joy in my eyes as I understood myself from the writings of these women. I would recommend this book to anybody who has unresolved issues. As Anne Lister once quoted - I (now) know my own heart.

A really good book on lesbian experiences. It helped me to come to terms with my thoughts and feelings and to see them as normal. It is a thought provoking book with some beautifully written, heart-felt stories. Well worth a read for ALL.

My best friend gave me this book as a Christmas gift last Christmas. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down. This is one of the best books on lesbian love. I loved the way the author had plenty of sexual stories, but she also had the emotions added right in. It was remarkable. I highly suggest it to anyone who loves to read about lesbian sex. Give it to a friend who may be having a tough time with the thought of being a lesbian. They will realize that the emotional ties a woman shares when they have sex with another woman in unbelievable. I truely loved this book.

For those who think they may be so far in the closet, they are in Narnia, this could be what you need to open the door. It's funny, thought provoking and very honest. As for me, the doors now open

This is a book full of short stories from women of all ages and nationalities, with a variety of settings and opinions. It offers an intimate glance into the secret lives of others' experiences, realistically and often heartwarmingly. With just the right balance of romantic and erotic suggestion, whether you just want something quick to read before you go to sleep or you want a feel good pick me up, this is (especially for the curious or new) the book to read.

I really enjoyed this book. The stories were well-written and very varied: some were sweet, others funny, and one so sad I just broke down crying. These are the kind of stories you will re-read and want to share with friends. Overall, very good! I read the book soon after my first lesbian experience, so I found the subject matter particualrly interesting, but many of the stories are universal.

When my best friend gave me this book I didn't know what to say to her. But when I read it I was in tears. I can relate to the stories so well. Being young(17)its great to have found this book.

It reminded me of the first time I made love to my best friends sister. Although I cried reading a couple of stories, I found most of them to very exciting indeed. I would definitely suggest this book to "curious" women before they act upon their desires.

Since I read "Playtime" and got a little taste of a girl/girl tryst, I wanted more. I found it in this book. It is very open, honest and just plain good.

If you're just curious, like I am, this book is a good start.
