Hi,

This is a well written, well presented introduction book to contract content. It's not comprehensive enough to give anyone an ability to learn enough to do it oneself. Hi,

I attended the Essential Contract Drafting Skill workshop held by Devant in Reading this month and found both the workshop and this book very useful. In my opinion, the book is just a straightforward, practical guide, not a full-fledged contract management book. It has simple, succinct, practical examples of case law, common commercial issues, practical exercises etc, that are a useful aide to understanding commercial management. Also, I feel this book is better understood, in the context of the workshop,as there is plenty of useful background and other information that Tiffany tends to give in those workshops. That being said, I think this is a great book and very useful in re-visiting or clearing basic commercial/ legal concepts.

A must read for those seeking to clarify basic contractual concepts and common contractual misconceptions- especially those who may be new to this field.

Regards,
Sana

It's as if it's written as a good reference to potential customers of the author's business as to the issues they need to think of before deploying a professional. That said its a good overview for someone like me thinking of moving into that line of legal work before paying heftily on the major text books.
