I really enjoyed reading this ebook. Although I would have liked a little more detail regarding the actual climbs. But that's just my personal choice.

An easy read, light on technical detail but full of observation. Entertaining and in some ways inspiring. I hope Craig gets another tour soon.

Inspirational book for any middle aged men (or women) contemplating a mid life crisis on 2 wheels. Maybe not the hill climbs though!

Brought back good memories of a similar trip I had been on. Cycling in France is as much about the food as the scenery.

Good read, time to get the Lycra out! And sharpen the knife and fork. An adventure for men "of a certain age".

Being a fan of both road biking and France, I was looking forward to this. The stories are entertaining enough without being special. The problem is that the writing isn't all that witty or special, and the thing that cheesed me off the most was the French. It is badly spelled, there are no accents on the words (a key part of the French language), and there are bits that are just incorrect. Added to this the apparent typos - "voilà" is spelled "viola", for God's sake - and it makes you wonder what the hell the author, proof-reader or publisher are playing at! A final thing is the French that is just randomly chucked in there - I mean, pourquoi use French just pour le sake of it? It isn't funny and is pointless!
