4.0 out of 5 stars A truly stimulating work, 17 Nov. 2013

This review is from: Paradoxes in Scientific Inference (Paperback)
This is a valuable collection of paradoxical observations, both entertaining and thought provoking.
As a statistician, I was particularly interested by the later parts, but it will be interesting to anyone seriously, or frivolously, interested in thinking.
It should be required reading for students enduring the 'sausage machine ' approach to basic statistical methods, or anyone inclined to pontificate about either frequentist or Bayesian probability.
