5.0 out of 5 stars Moroaica, 18 May 2011
This review is from: Moroaica (Paperback)
An intelligent and well written new spin on the vampire genre. The characters are well constructed and believable, each with their own distinctive traits.

Max's struggle to reconcile her role as a slayer (an we're not talking Buffy Anne Summers here) with her home life is entirely comprehensible to anyone who remembers being a teenager.

Dillon's apparent betrayal and constant intrusion into her thoughts adds an extra emotional dimension to the plot.

Feruk's humour adds a lighter side to the read while never detracting from the drama.

The unfolding hostilities between the vampire coven and the slayer breed give an edge to the story, with Sam's madness urging the reader, however implausibly, to will the coven on to victory.

Can't wait to read Eldar Moroi.
