I have to admit i was a little disapointed with this book. I thought Raziel was brilliant and while Demon lacked emotion and had characters that were harder to like it still held my attention with the plot.

This book was much the same as Demon in that i felt it didn't quite measure up to the first book in the series. I didnt connect much with Michael at all and while Tori started out well - there was just something missing. the relationship between these two just lacked a certain quality and the book suffered as a result.

The plot was decent - it kept me reading anyway and i am still curious about how the overall story of the series will pan out. The next enstallment is "Rebel" and i really hope the author recaptures the spark of the first book with it.

honestly i didn't love this book as much as the other two in the series which have a prized place on my bookshelf.
i though Micheal was gruff and to be honest boring i didn't really care about most of his internal monologs which i thought there were far to many of. Victoria seemed like a real fighter in the beginning as though she could take on the whole world but she was a bit of a let down.
I would have liked a little more sizzle between them instead of a dull appreciation of one another it just wasn't hot or gripping enough to be amazing. All together this was an okay read but i found most of the story easily forgettable.
i really wanted to see more of Lucifer but hopefully we will hear more about him in the next books eeeeep!!
