This is a small slightly off A6 sized book about 1.5 cm thick.
It contains a huge volume of reference information for JavaScript and is ideal to carry round for those times when it's not possible or practical to use the net. It sits as a good companion volume to the much larger Definitive Guide to Javascript by the same author.

Doesn't have the quick reference of built in javascript objects that the old version came with, but does have a whole lot more on modern javascript.

this is a small book, real pocket-size, so it has obvious limitations of size, nonetheless is one of the most comprehensive java reference imaginable, included are all the main features of the language in an easy to find organization
Also amazing how any given topic is explored in details, notwithstanding the lack of space.
A must for any java practitioner especially if a beginner like me.
I give it 4 stars just for the small size, but really it would be very hard to write a better reference within this format.

Tiny pocket format book, really well written with everything you could ever think to include. I love these little O'Reilly pocket guides they're great for dipping in when there's a free moment.
