2.0 out of 5 stars Very short and thin on details, 31 Oct. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this book as someone who's already using a Jenkins setup with PHP, keen to read some of the author of PHPUnit's insights.

Unfortunately the book itself is very short - at 40 pages including code listings and screengrabs it is possible to read the whole thing in about 10 minutes. It only really covers basic Jenkins setup in a sort of 'how to' format, and it's all stuff freely available elsewhere online.

Possibly this would be useful to someone who's not set up Jenkins at all and wants a walkthrough, and at the current low price it's hard to be to too upset, but if you're considering buying it please pay attention to the length and don't expect much detail.

This review is from: Integrating PHP Projects with Jenkins (Paperback)
This is a very short book, with one three page ant build file to run tests on php code. I expected much more.
