This is a boxed set of 3 Tim Frazer stories:
=> The World of Tim Frazer
=> Tim Frazer Again
=> Tim Frazer Gets the Message
I have previously listened to many of the Paul Temple dramatisations and if anything the stories and the performance on these disks is better. Anthony Head has superb vocalisation and his accents and voices make it very easy to follow the story. The stories and plot are less "twee" than Paul Temple (and I enjoy Paul Temple) so I was pleasantly surprised listening to these CDs. If you like Paul Temple, I think you will enjoy this boxed set. The are set in the 70s (one of the characters drives a Triumph Stag) so there are no PCs,no mobile phones and no internet (how did they live?). Anyway, great escapist whodunnits beautifully read by Anthony Head. Enjoy.

This is the age in which my wife's parents would love to be back in, mum is now 90 and almost blind and cannot see the tv so radio and Audio books are her enjoyment ans this set and others like them are a God send. keep them coming.

Arrived in good time, all stories akin to usual format expected of Paul Temple, storyteller muses along at a leisurely tempo and the outcome of all these facets is extremely satisfactory.

I got this because I liked Paul Temple. I prefer the Paul Temple but this was bearable. If they could get them dramatized and put sound effects on them like PT they do come together a bit. It is nice on narrating side as somebody spends time on this to do it they are usually pretty good with the effervescence it needs for the difference on voices when they express each character.
