I am cooking my way through Gordon's books and so far this is my favorite. I really like how it is set up and that every recipe has a picture so I know what I should end up with. I cannot say enough good things about these books! Every single thing I have made so far was tasty and easily achieved.

This book is one of my favourites now, I like his simplicity of cooking even though he is a top chef he has skill to make a meal of just 2 ingredients which i like, too many thing on the plate puts me off.

MY beer bread did turn out well but maybe due to the fact could not get the right whole meal flour here in New Plymouth NZ was not obtainable. On the whole very good and very readable.

Great book with great not very complicated recipes. I also love Jamie Oliver's books but I find Gordon Ramsay's recipes simpler and more likely to try. The recipes are easy to follow and implement if you want something fancy or you are more experienced cook they might not excite you. The is accompanied with nice illustrations to inspire you and lots of tips of how to cook better. I have the "Ultimate cookery course" as well and both are great books.
