Not her best
on 14 June 2011
This is the third Elizabeth George novel I have read. I thought the other two were outstanding ("What Came Before He Shot Her" and "Careless in Red") but this one I find just an average whodunnit. The behaviour of the various characters is not really credible, and thus quite irritating.
The incredible attention to and apparent understanding of location detail shown in the other two later books is missing.
I bought this because the other two books impressed me. If this was the first of her books I read, I wouldn't bother buying another. Disappointing in a word.
