5.0 out of 5 stars physics or even signal processing or the Fourier series I could not recommend this book enough
5 stars still seems unfair. I think this book and Feynman's lectures on physics should get 5 an every thing else would need marking down a point.
I expected very little from a book of this price, but surprisingly it does what it says on the tin, and then some. Although the book starts off with the assumption that the reader has very little knowledge of trigonometry...

2.0 out of 5 stars Questions are on topics not covered
Ive got to chapter two and already the exercise questions are on things the book has not covered. Ive had to spend a long time on the internet reading other resources , mainly [...] , to read up on these concepts to be able to get the correct answers to the questions. So far this book has made learning these concepts even harder and more frustrating

5.0 out of 5 stars physics or even signal processing or the Fourier series I could not recommend this book enough, 29 Aug. 2014

5 stars still seems unfair. I think this book and Feynman's lectures on physics should get 5 an every thing else would need marking down a point.
I expected very little from a book of this price, but surprisingly it does what it says on the tin, and then some. Although the book starts off with the assumption that the reader has very little knowledge of trigonometry it soon moves into some extremely accurately and concisely explained concepts. I find some of these concepts and behaviours of triangles bewildering, in that, it doesn't seem things should be the simple, but it is. This may be the geekiest thing I will ever say but triangles are truely magical things, and of invaluable use!
This book explains the relations and behaviour of triangles extremely well, concisely and accurately.
For anyone studying maths to any level, physics or even signal processing or the Fourier series I could not recommend this book enough.
It would be a decent reference book too.
Honest its that good I have learned so much from a book I find simplistic to read, an I can't imagine how a book can better that! Well, apart from the aforementioned Feynman books, they're entertaining to read too and an utter joy. Thus far they are proving to be an utter one off!!

This review is from: Trigonometry - A Complete Introduction: Teach Yourself (Paperback)
Great book, i would advise reading each chapter before pursuing the questions as it gets a bit complecated other then that amazing book really easy to understand when you get the hang off it all.
