A bit of a heavyweight by today's standards, however there is humour and compassion in between.
Quote from page 37 - "It is supposed to be the affluent age, I know, but at the same time the age of anxiety, the age of strain, the age of frayed nerves, the age of complexes. It is inevitable. The modern age is proing the rightness of our Lord's teaching."
The sermon was written c. 1963. 50 years later the sermons Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones still ring true.
