5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
I love this book. Adam seems to understand his subject brilliantly and is able to explain things in a very clear simple way.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Content - But Not Optimised For Kindle
This book is a good read and guide to correctly using jQuery for Web Development, but is really let down by poor conversion to the Kindle format. Tables outlining key elements in jQuery have just been converted to images, which are barely visible in Kindle portrait mode. Switching to landscape mode is slightly better, but still not great.

Excellent book! Loads of examples - most of which work ! Teaches by example. No boring syntax descriptions ! Covers JQuery UI and Mobile. Uses Jquery downloads as well as CDNs.

This review is from: Pro jQuery (Kindle Edition)
This book is a good read and guide to correctly using jQuery for Web Development, but is really let down by poor conversion to the Kindle format. Tables outlining key elements in jQuery have just been converted to images, which are barely visible in Kindle portrait mode. Switching to landscape mode is slightly better, but still not great.

Code examples are also poorly formatted, some kind of back ground shade and smaller font size would actually make the code easier to read.

Comparing this book to say, jQuery Novice to Ninja and it is clear Apress have done as little as possible for Kindle readers.

Unless they up their game I won't be buying an Apress book again.
