"Tigers Forever" by National Geographic photographer Steve Winter and writer Sharon Guynup is beautiful collection of tigers' stories and pictures, about this magnificent animal that slowly becoming extinct.

The authors, together with the biggest nonprofit organization devoted to saving these big and beautiful large cats called Panthera, are showing to readers and viewers their large collection of images and stories made in tigers' own environment, collection on which they worked ten years.

Sharon Guynup stories are telling the sad truth about tigers' illegal hunting and smuggling which even more increase the speed of extinction of these beautiful animals due to the natural prerequisites.

And looking on Steve Winter's photos the reader/viewer can only regret that she/he doesn't have chance to find themselves in this world of tigers, that doesn't have the opportunity to observe them in their natural environment.
On his photos, tigers are beautiful, mysterious animals magnificent in their ferocity.

"Tigers Forever" is at the same time informative read and a beautiful book to look at, a combination that makes it definitely recommended for those who love animals, wildlife and especially tigers.

this book is not for people who can't take the truth. It tells the story in a moving and honest way. There is hope but there also is a lot of work to be done. It convinced me to join the fight for the big cats.
Apart from its stories the pictures are amazing and I envy the author who was blessed with these encounters. Well done Steve Winter.
