4.0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Adventures volume 6, 25 July 2012

Part three of the Yellow arc.

A real step up from volume 5, Yellow, Bill, Blue, Green and Blaine team up with the 3 Rocket Commanders and engage the Elite Four on Cerise Island. Green and Sabrina face off against Lorelei. Lt Surge and Bill against Bruno. Blue and Koga against Agatha and finally Blaine and Yellow set off to find Lance.

We also get to see how the battle between Red and Bruno at Mt. Moon played out, big shocker the Elite Four cheat.

On the mainland armies of Pokemon, under Elite Four control attack the major cities and the remaining Gym Leaders struggle to hold them off.

A more action packed volume then the previous two, no silly side stories to get in the way of the plot and the volume ends with the return of a major character...Red.

4.0 out of 5 stars Assault on the Elite Four, 13 Dec. 2010

This sixth volume of the `Pokémon Adventures' manga sees Yellow, Green, Blue, Bill and Blaine infiltrate the base of the Elite Four only to come across some unexpected allies to help in their battle. Meanwhile the Pokémon armies of the Elite four continue their assault on the cites of Celadon, Cerulean and Pewter Gym Leaders.

This is another very good volume of `Pokémon Adventures' with some nice battles and some interesting plot developments. This volume also includes a couple of flashbacks which are quite interesting, the first tells us what exactly happened when Red met with Bruno at Mt Moon and the second shows us how the relationship between Professor Oak and Agatha deteriorated. This volume is the penultimate in the Yellow story arc and it sets things up nicely for the next volume.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pokemon Book, 13 May 2010

This book was purchased for my son who likes Pokemon. Although I havn't read the book myself, my son has enjoyed it and so have others who have read it. This book is more suitable for a confident reader (unless adult reads it). This book will surprise readers if they havn't seen the rest of the set because it reads 'back-to-front' (you start from the back - like Japanese people would). Good value for money.
