An continuing saga on epic proportions,
By
This review is from: Naruto volume 34 (Paperback)
I am assuming anyone reading this has read as much of this series as I have :P but if not then why not?? It has given me so much joy over the past 3 years. Seeing Naruto and co come up against some truly fearsome foes and squeezing their way out of some truly difficult situations Kishimoto never ceases to amaze me. The series is a true piece of art in graphical and literate terms, each panel full of action and adventure but with a continuing plot line that keeps you forever hooked! All the characters are well thought through and all very distinct in personality, goals and direction. Without spoiling too much (I read online first then collect the volumes later), I personally cannot wait to see the end of the Akatsuki :P Enjoy!

This review is from: Naruto volume 34 (Paperback)
After tracking Sai, Kabuto and Orochimaru to their hidden base, Naruto and his teammates infiltrate the underground lair looking for Sasuke and the traitorous Sai. Sai meanwhile is beginning to have doubts about his lack of emotion and Sasuke has grown to be incredibly strong. This thirty-fourth volume of the `Naruto' manga sees the long awaited reunion between Naruto and Sasuke and gives a nice indication as to how much the renegade Uchiha has grown. The volume has some nice plot twists regarding Sai and his mission, even if some of them are quite obvious. This volume pretty much end this arc and while I probably wouldn't say that this is the best the series has ever been, it is still very entertaining.
