This review is from: Alpha Romeos (Paperback)
What happens when you mix the luscious warriors of Kal with the magic of a Scottish warlock? The answer is simple; a red hot mix of Alpha Romeos. Madison Hayes' "Kingdom" series and Rhyannon Byrd's "Magick Men" are hot enough on their own; combined together they are absolutely explosive.

Colin McKendrick teams up with two Kal warriors; Dye and the recently resurrected but still dead Warrik (killed in "Redeeming Davik") to rescue the five half-sisters of the Goddess Andarta, each cursed by an unknown entity who wishes to enslave both their worlds. So what reasons do these mighty warriors have for accepting this quest and what do they have in their arsenal; weapons thoughtfully provided by a Goddess of Fertility? Well Warrik is gifted with a talking sword and is determined to proceed with this task to literally get his life back (including his sex drive), Colin is temporarily released from his banishment in Earth's orbit (he claims he was set up) and carries a bag full of sex toys and lastly Dye; well he does owe Warrik a favour after ordering his execution, so agrees to help find the five items required to fully return his deceased enemy to life.

This is a red hot read as these three men battle to rescue the five cursed goddesses; however are they up for the job ..... umm not fully, after all Warrik is dead and Colin finds himself under another curse; but on the bright side they've got a bag of toys and a lot of talent. "Alpha Romeos" is funny, romantic and positively scorching! Bashful the sword provides plenty of comic relief as these men attempt to break each curse placed on Life, Age, Lust, Denial and Fear; these 5 women desperate for help which only our Alpha Romeos can provide. I've got to say their encounters with each of the imprisoned sisters are real page turners; however Denial's really stands out. When facing this tiny woman, our three heroes think breaking her curse will be an easy task until Denial shows them the "power of denial" is pretty potent by flinging them across the room. With one of our heroes finding true love at the end of this quest, "Alpha Romeos" has all the right ingredients I enjoy; sizzling romance, a fantastic fantasy plot line and a whole lot of fun.
